Volunteers are sought to help maintain our local mountain biking trails every Tuesday from 3:00 to 6:00pm.

Cold beverages are always provided after each maintenance session.
The next meeting of the Montezuma-Cortez School District RE-1 will be held on Tuesday, October 21st, from 6 to 8pm at the Cortez Administration Office on Elm.
The Cortez City Council meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at City Hall on Roger Smith Ave. starting at 7pm.

The Over The Hill Gang Cortez Car Club meets on the second Wednesday of each month at the United Methodist Church, located at Empire and Park Streets. Meet and greet begins at 6pm, followed by the meeting at 7pm. Anyone with a love for cars is welcome! For details, call 970-560-1891.
The San Juan County Historical Society will present a talk on the importance of Turquoise among the Navajo and Pueblo people of the Southwest. The event will take place at 6:00pm on Wednesday, October 22nd at the Farmington Civic Center.

Fenceline Cider will host bingo every Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00pm.

Hospice of Montezuma will facilitate a weekly meeting for men each Friday from 2:00 - 3:30pm.
This group is for men who might benefit from sharing things that have been weighing on their minds. Seeing things from a new perspective is often very helpful. Mental health matters!

The Montezuma School to Farm Project will be holding their annual fall fundraiser at WildEdge Brewing Collective on Friday, October 24th from 5:30pm.
The event will feature live music by Little Brother and auctions on items and pies from local businesses!
All ticket sales and proceeds go towards education and materials for the gardens next growing season.
The Lightbox at Stillwater Music will host The Badly Bent and Animas Roots on Friday, October 24th at 7:00pm
The Badly Bent has been entrenched in the bluegrass music scene since 1998 and are based in Durango.
Animas Roots is an adult student band focused on bluegrass and folk styles.
