The Sunflower Theatre will welcome the Montezuma Heritage Museum on Saturday, May 3rd, with performances at 2:00pm and 7:00pm of Voices From the Past — a reader’s theatre featuring stories, letters, and interviews from early Montezuma County residents. Board, dice, and card game sessions take place at Bitterblossom Games on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Bring your own games or play the ones available on site.
The Over The Hill Gang Cortez Car Club meets on the second Wednesday of each month at the United Methodist Church, located at Empire and Park Streets. Meet and greet begins at 6pm, followed by the meeting at 7pm. Anyone with a love for cars is welcome! For details, call 970-560-1891.

ZU Gallery in Cortez will host an acoustic open mic night on the first Thursday of each month from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Yves Giraud will facilitate the open mic and provide all the necessary equipment.All musicians and performers, regardless of experience level, are welcome to come and share their talent. Local band Horizon will play the Mancos Brewing Company on the first Friday of each month, starting at 5pm.
The Sunflower Theatre will screen the movie, Secret Mall Apartment on Friday, May 2nd at 7:00pm.The film tells the story of eight Rhode Islanders who created a secret apartment inside the busy Providence Place Mall and kept it going for four years, filming everything along the way. The Turquoise Raven Art Gallery will host an exhibition by artist, Dai Salwen from Saturday, May 3rd until Saturday, May 31st.

Four Corners Food Not Bombs will meet at the pink warehouse at 30 N. Beech Street in Cortez on Sundays from noon to 2pm. Everyone is invited to bring a vegetarian or vegan dish to share. Other supplies for living will be on hand for distribution as well. Donations of gently used clothing and camping supplies are needed - they can be dropped off during this time.
As part of the Mancos Valley Chorus Spring 2025 Concert Series, they will present a concert entitled, "On the Road Again" on Sunday, May 4th at 3:00 pm at Mancos United Methodist Church.
