The Odd Cat Bookstore in Dolores will host a late morning discussion group every third Saturday at 10.30am.
This will have no agenda, no particular topic and zero politics and will just be humans engaging in conversation. Coffee and tea will be available but attendees are welcome to bring their own refreshments.
On Saturday, June 20th at 2:00pm, as part of BurroFest, Montezuma Heritage Museum will present a talk on the life and legacy of Butch Cassidy with historian Andrew Gulliford and adventurer Brett Davis at Mancos Opera House.
Through a modern mountain bike expedition tracing the old haunts of Cassidy and his Wild Bunch along the outlaw trail, Andrew and Brett explored the line between history and legend and will discuss why the outlaw era still captivates the American imagination.
Local band, Goathead will take to the stage at Mancos Brewing Company on Saturday, June 20th at 5:00pm.
Goathead are a roots music quintet from Montezuma County performing original songs written by three members of the band. They also perform some fun cover songs.

Four Corners Food Not Bombs is a mutual aid group where neighbors help neighbors, and everyone is welcome. They meet Sundays from noon to 1:30 at the Good Sam’s Warehouse in Cortez for a hot, homemade vegan and vegetarian potluck, plus an exchange of books and clothes. Come give what you can, and take what you need.
Every Sunday afternoon starting at 3:00pm, The Odd Cat Bookstore in Dolores will host a writing group.
This casual event will typically feature a writing prompt followed by twenty minutes of writing and then a sharing session. Some afternoons will feature a local writer.

The Disabled American Veterans Outreach Center offers rides for Veterans to medical appointments and is looking for volunteer drivers to join the team. Vehicles and gas are provided for these trips.

From Monday, June 8th until Friday, July 24th, Mancos Common Press will offer a variety of youth summer camps where attendees can experience a dynamic series of hands-on printmaking activities.
Classes will include mono printing, gel printing, collagraphs, screen printing, etching, and block printing.

Cortez Integrated Healthcare hosts a peer-led addiction recovery support group every Tuesday at 5:00 PM. Participants will learn practical recovery tools in a supportive, non-12-step environment.
Every Tuesday evening beginning at 6:30pm, Dolores River Brewery invite music lovers to celebrate solo and duo artists from the county and region in their intimate performance setting.
The Cortez City Council meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at City Hall on Roger Smith Ave. starting at 7pm.
