Every Thursday at 9:00am, Canyon of the Ancients Visitor Center and Museum invite volunteer gardeners to come lend a hand in keeping the gardens at the center looking their best.
No experience is necessary other than a love of plants.

During July and August, Mancos Public Library invite the public to share their memories of the Mancos Valley.

The Montezuma Civic Hub is hosting a new series called Finding Common Ground: Skills for Working Across Differences at the Cortez Public Library. The series runs monthly through December, covering topics like listening, bridging divides, and engaging across differences. Sessions take place from noon to 1 pm and include lunch.
Mancos Farmers Market will take place every Thursday in Boyle Park from 4:00 to 6:30pm featuring local vegetables, baked goods and more.
The Mancos Meditation Group meets every Thursday at 6:00pm at the One Heart House, located at 733 Grand Avenue in Mancos. More information is on the Mancos Meditation Group Facebook page.
The Sunflower Theatre will host Comedy Open Mic events every Third Thursday beginning at 7:00pm.
But this time, attendees are invited to perform in a wider variety of comedy styles including improv, stand-up comedy, clown and physical comedy, story telling, and sketch comedy.

The Sunflower Theatre will screen the documentary, "The American Southwest: A River Ran Through It", on Friday evenings at 7:00pm throughout the summer.
Narrated by Quannah Chasinghorse, the documentary celebrates the rivers, wildlife, and communities that make the American Southwest one of the most extraordinary places on Earth.

The Cortez Recreation Center, in partnership with TeamUp, hosts "Teen Hangout Nights" every second and fourth Saturday from 5:30pm to 8:00pm.
Teens can drop-in and enjoy an open gym, structured games, rock climbing, karaoke and more. Snacks and drinks will be available.
Dolores River Brewery will host a gig by Fudge on Saturday, August 8th at 8:00pm.
From Wilmington, North Carolina, Fudge are on their first major US tour and combine rock and pop music.

Four Corners Food Not Bombs is a mutual aid group where neighbors help neighbors, and everyone is welcome. They meet Sundays from noon to 1:30 at the Good Sam’s Warehouse in Cortez for a hot, homemade vegan and vegetarian potluck, plus an exchange of books and clothes. Come give what you can, and take what you need.
