The Mancos Meditation Group meets every Thursday at 6:00pm at the One Heart House, located at 733 Grand Avenue in Mancos. More information is on the Mancos Meditation Group Facebook page.
The Sunflower Theatre will host Comedy Open Mic events every Third Thursday beginning at 7:00pm.
But this time, attendees are invited to perform in a wider variety of comedy styles including improv, stand-up comedy, clown and physical comedy, story telling, and sketch comedy.

Every third Friday at 10:00am Cortez Public Library will host Coffee and Crafts.
Seasoned crafters or those just beginning are invited to join and use the provided art supplies, unwind, relax and create.
The Cortez Cultural Center will host an opening reception to kick off the 2nd Annual Four Corners Studio Tour taking place over the last two weekends of September.

Cortez Recreation Center invite all to attend their Big Backyard Community Game Night at Montezuma Park, Cortez on Friday, September 18th from 5:30pm.
The event will feature yard games, prizes and local food trucks.
As part of the CO150 Film Festival, The Sunflower Theatre will screen Spike Lee's Black Klansman on Friday, September 18th at 7:00pm.
Set in Colorado Springs in the early 1970s and based on an almost unbelievable true story, Black Klansman follows Ron Stallworth, the first Black detective in the Colorado Springs Police Department, who launches an undercover investigation into the Ku Klux Klan.

The iNDIGO Room in Durango will host a performance by The Howard Brothers and Joys Familiar on Friday, September 18th from 8:00pm.

The Mancos Common Press is hosting a print festival on Friday, September 18th and Saturday, September 19th for a celebration of all things print.
The weekend will include hands-on workshops, a print market, steamroller printing, a community print project, and a kids’ printing station. The festival kicks off with a keynote author talk by artist, Chip Thomas.

The Odd Cat Bookstore in Dolores will host a late morning discussion group every third Saturday at 10.30am.
This will have no agenda, no particular topic and zero politics and will just be humans engaging in conversation. Coffee and tea will be available but attendees are welcome to bring their own refreshments.
