Mancos Common Press are offering hands-on printmaking classes from April through June.
Classes will vary from screen printing and etching to experimental and beginner-friendly workshops,

Children aged from 5 to 10 are invited to attend the Good News After School Club on Thursdays from 3:45pm.
Situated at BUS across from Kemper Elementary School, the club will feature, Bible lessons, snacks and games and is hosted by local area churches.
On Thursday, April 23rd at 6:00pm The City of Cortez will host the US Navy Southwest Brass Band for a performance in Montezuma Park.
Hailing from San Diego, California, the band are here to help celebrate the 250th anniversary of the founding of The United States of America.
Attendees are reminded to dress for the weather and to bring a folding chair.
Every second Thursday of the month, The Sunflower Theatre will host a Spoken Word Open Mic Night at 7:00pm.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own original poetry or prose to share with a warm and welcoming audience. Each reader will have 3 to 7 minutes to share their work.

On Friday, April 24th, Bears Ears Partnership will host a gathering of Indigenous regional artists who will be selling their work in an outdoor courtyard at the Bears Ears Education Center in Bluff, Utah.
This event will run from 9:30am until 3:30pm.
Hospice of Montezuma is offering a weekly men’s discussion group on Fridays from 2 to 3:30 p.m.
The group is open to men who want a supportive space to talk about what’s been on their minds and hear different perspectives. For more information, call Derek Streeter at 970-565-4400.
Pueblo Community College will be running a Construction Class on Fridays and Wednesdays from 3:00 to 5:00pm at The Makerspace in Cortez.
These classes will run until May 9th.

On Saturday, April 25th at 1:00pm Cortez Makerspace invite the public to discover the art of silversmithing.
This jewelry making workshop for beginners age 12 and up offers the chance to learn the fundamentals of crafting unique pieces.

The Sunflower Theatre will host School Community Youth Collaborative on Saturday, April 25th at 1:30pm for another Family Movie Fundraiser.
This time the movie being screened is Zootopia. The film follows the rabbit, Judy Hopps, a rookie police officer, and the fox, Nick Wilde, a con artist, as they work together to uncover a conspiracy involving the disappearance of predators.
