The Sunflower Theatre presents "The Boy and the Heron" on Thursday, May 16th, at 7:00pm. An animated adventure film by from the legendary Studio Ghibli (GIB-lee or JIB-lee), creators of Spirited Away, Howl’s Moving Castle, and My Neighbor Totoro (TOH-toh-roh), it features the story of Mahito (MAH-hee-toh) and a series of mysterious events that lead him to a secluded and ancient tower, home to a mischievous gray heron. The League of Women Voters, Mancos Public Library, Cortez Library, and Dolores Library have collaborated with three professors from Fort Lewis College for a presentation on Mis- and Disinformation on Thursday, May 23rd from 5:30 to 7pm at the Sunflower Theatre.

The San Juan Coffee Company will host a family-friendly karaoke, lip-sync, and boba (bo-buh) party every other Saturday through June 29th. Refreshments will be available for purchase.
The final concert of the Mancos Valley Chorus spring series is Saturday, May 11th at 3:30pm at Mancos United Methodist Church. Come listen to a selection of songs celebrating all the elements of springtime, rain, rainbows and sunshine!
BluPhunk Collective will play live at Fenceline Cider in Mancos on Saturday, May 11th from 6 to 9pm.

EsoTerra Ciderworks in Dolores will kick off their season with a Mother's Day Brunch Buffet from 11am to 3pm on Sunday, May 12th. Pete Giuliani will provide live music.
Snowy Plovers will perform live at Fenceline Cider in Mancos on Mother's Day from 5 to 7pm.
Fenceline Cider will host Sip, Swig, Splatter & Paint on the second and last Sunday of each month at 5pm. It's an opportunity to collaborate on new pieces, as well as work on existing pieces.
