Four Corners Food Not Bombs will provide an opportunity for mutual aid at the pink warehouse at 30 N. Beech Street in Cortez on Sundays from noon to 1:30pm. Everyone is invited, but not required, to bring a vegetarian or vegan dish to share. Needed items include tents, sleeping bags, hygiene supplies, and socks.

The Disabled American Veterans Outreach Center offers rides for Veterans to medical appointments and is looking for volunteer drivers to join the team. Vehicles and gas are provided for these trips.

If you’d like to help neighbors affected by the current SNAP benefits lapse, donations are now being accepted for the Montezuma and Dolores Counties SNAP Emergency Response Fund.
This fund supports local food security organizations meeting urgent food and supply needs across both counties, and all contributions are tax deductible.
You can also sign up to volunteer or find updated food assistance resources online at goodfoodcollective.org/snap-relief-montezuma-dolores.

The Pinon Project will host, "Circle of Mothers", every Monday from 5:30 to 7:30pm. These meetings will allow mothers to connect and support each other.

The Four Corners AI Conference will take place Monday, December 16 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm at Fort Lewis College in the Concert Hall and Student Union. The event includes keynote speakers, breakout sessions, and workshops focused on artificial intelligence in rural communities. It is open to the public. Stretch and Strength is an exercise class is for people with Parkinson's Disease and their care givers. It is held weekly on a Tuesday at 11 am at The Heart and Core Yoga Studio at 720 East Main Street, Cortez.

From Tuesday, December 2nd, to Tuesday, December 23rd, The Turquoise Raven Art Gallery will host, "Between the Earth and Sky".

The exhibition will feature clay, wood, feather and fur. It will highlight Janet Lever-Wood's ceramics, John Welden's woodwork and John Martin's illustrations.

The Pinon Project will host The Incredible Years Advanced Parenting Class every Tuesday from 1:00 - 3:00pm.
This class is for parents and caregivers of children aged from 2 to 10 years. Participants will learn interpersonal skills, anger management and problem solving.

Cortez Integrated Healthcare hosts a peer-led addiction recovery support group every Tuesday at 5:00 PM. Participants will learn practical recovery tools in a supportive, non-12-step environment.

The Pinon Project will offer a parenting class called "Six Bricks" every Tuesday from 5:30 to 8:00pm.

This new and updated program is centered around six research-proven steps that will help build a strong foundation for children's lives.
