Every third Friday of the month, Cortez Public Library will host, "Coffee and Crafts" from 10:am to 12:00pm.This will feature paint sets, drawing tools and a sewing machine. Coffee and tea will be provided but you need to bring your own mug.
The Cortez Public Library is looking for hobbyists and crafters who are interested in donating their time to teach a two-hour craft class to the community.

Cortez Public Library will host local crafter, Michelle Johnson on Friday, November 21st from 10:00am until noon as part of their Coffee, Crafts and Conversations series.
Michelle will teach patrons how to crochet snowglobes or snowflakes. All supplies will be provided, however, patrons are encouraged to bring crafts from home, such as buttons to attach as decorations.
Hospice of Montezuma will facilitate a weekly meeting for men each Friday from 2:00 - 3:30pm.
This group is for men who might benefit from sharing things that have been weighing on their minds. Seeing things from a new perspective is often very helpful. Mental health matters!

On Friday, November 21st at 3:00pm, Cortez Public Library will be hosting a children's science lesson called, "The Trees and Me".
This will be a fun, interactive lesson on trees and how they help us breathe. This event is intended for young children.
Sundog Gallery in Mancos is hosting an exhibition of pottery and ceramics with an opening night reception on Friday, November 21st from 4:00 to 7:00pm.
The show runs through to Wednesday, December 31st.

The ZU Gallery in Cortez will host "Name That Tune, Diva Night" on Friday, November 21st at 6:00pm.
Competitors can test their knowledge of iconic female artists from Whitney to Beyoncé, Aretha to Adele.
No tickets or advanced bookings are required for this event and it will consist of three rounds with teams of two to six players.

On Friday, November 21st at 8:00pm, iAM Music will host the Alex Graf Duo featuring Eli Emmitt at the iAM Music Institute in Durango.
The gig will begin with an opener by Blue Grouse.
Alex Graf was is from Brooklyn, New York but now resides in Durango where he combines bluegrass and acoustic music while still embracing his jazz roots.

Four Corners Food Not Bombs will provide an opportunity for mutual aid at the pink warehouse at 30 N. Beech Street in Cortez on Sundays from noon to 1:30pm. Everyone is invited, but not required, to bring a vegetarian or vegan dish to share. Needed items include tents, sleeping bags, hygiene supplies, and socks.

The Disabled American Veterans Outreach Center offers rides for Veterans to medical appointments and is looking for volunteer drivers to join the team. Vehicles and gas are provided for these trips.
