Stretch and Strength is an exercise class is for people with Parkinson's Disease and their care givers. It is held weekly on a Tuesday at 11 am at The Heart and Core Yoga Studio at 720 East Main Street, Cortez.

The Pinon Project will host The Incredible Years Advanced Parenting Class every Tuesday from 1:00 - 3:00pm.
This class is for parents and caregivers of children aged from 2 to 10 years. Participants will learn interpersonal skills, anger management and problem solving.

Cortez Integrated Healthcare hosts a peer-led addiction recovery support group every Tuesday at 5:00 PM. Participants will learn practical recovery tools in a supportive, non-12-step environment.

The Pinon Project will offer a parenting class called "Six Bricks" every Tuesday from 5:30 to 8:00pm.

This new and updated program is centered around six research-proven steps that will help build a strong foundation for children's lives.

Hospice of Montezuma will host a presentation on Wednesday, October 15th at 1:00pm titled, "Showing Love to Those Grieving Over the Holidays".

This seminar is intended to mentally prepare and empower those experiencing grief as the holidays approach.

As part of the Everybody Eats Series, Cortez Cultural Center will host a presentation with Esmerelda of Esmerelda's Restaurant, on Wednesday, October 15th at 6:00pm.

Esmeralda will talk about the history, traditions and culture around tamale making.

Four Corners Writers will host a workshop every third Wednesday at the Zu Gallery from 6:00 to 7:30pm.
This is open to all writers regardless of genre or experience level and will allow attendees to learn more about the craft and business of writing.

Canyon of the Ancients Visitor Center and Museum are seeking volunteers to help care for their gardens.

This volunteer opportunity is open to all regardless of experience.
