Every Thursday at 9:00am, Canyon of the Ancients Visitor Center and Museum invite volunteer gardeners to come lend a hand in keeping the gardens at the center looking their best.

No experience is necessary other than a love of plants.

Mancos Farmers Market will take place every Thursday in Boyle Park from 4:00 to 6:30pm featuring local vegetables, baked goods and more.

Every Third Thursday from June until September, CREA in partnership with The City of Cortez, invites all to attend Third Thursdays in Montezuma Park.

Beginning at 5:00pm, this downtown outdoor event will feature vendors, live music, dancing, food & drink, giveaways and community fun. Attendees are reminded to bring a chair for viewing the live bands.

The Mancos Meditation Group meets every Thursday at 6:00pm at the One Heart House, located at 733 Grand Avenue in Mancos. More information is on the Mancos Meditation Group Facebook page.

The Sunflower Theatre will host Comedy Open Mic events every Third Thursday beginning at 7:00pm.

But this time, attendees are invited to perform in a wider variety of comedy styles including improv, stand-up comedy, clown and physical comedy, story telling, and sketch comedy.

Every third Friday at 10:00am Cortez Public Library will host Coffee and Crafts.

Seasoned crafters or those just beginning are invited to join and use the provided art supplies, unwind, relax and create.

The Odd Cat Bookstore in Dolores will host a late morning discussion group every third Saturday at 10.30am.

This will have no agenda, no particular topic and zero politics and will just be humans engaging in conversation. Coffee and tea will be available but attendees are welcome to bring their own refreshments.

On Saturday, October 17th at 1:00pm, Montezuma Heritage Museum will offer a field trip to explore Mitchell Springs’ rich prehistoric and historic past.

Hosted by Dave Dove and Barbara Stagg, the event will have a limited capacity.

The Annual Hoedown fundraiser will return to Mancos Opera House on Saturday, October 17th beginning at 6:00pm.

The event will feature music by Afrobeatniks, a live pie auction and a "Best Dressed in the West" costume contest. Funds are being raised to support Montezuma School to Farm and The Montelores County Fund.

The iNDIGO Room in Durango will host the Magic Lanterns new EP release along with Matt Rupnow on Saturday, October 17th from 8:00pm.
