The Sunflower Theatre will host Comedy Open Mic events every Third Thursday beginning at 7:00pm.
But this time, attendees are invited to perform in a wider variety of comedy styles including improv, stand-up comedy, clown and physical comedy, story telling, and sketch comedy.

Mesa Verde National Park will host three beginner astrophotography workshops in July with astrophotographer Don Riddle.
The stand-alone workshops will take place Tuesday, July 14, Wednesday, July 15, and Thursday, July 16. Each workshop begins at 7:15 p.m. near the park entrance and continues until around midnight.
Participants will learn how to photograph the Milky Way, starting in daylight with camera settings before continuing as the sun sets and the night sky becomes visible. An optional indoor drop-in session will be offered the following day for help editing photos.
Registration is required, and each workshop is limited to 15 participants. Registration is available through the Mesa Verde National Park stargazing webpage.

Every third Friday at 10:00am Cortez Public Library will host Coffee and Crafts.
Seasoned crafters or those just beginning are invited to join and use the provided art supplies, unwind, relax and create.
Mancos Brewing Company will host a gig by Liver Down the River on Friday, July 17th at 5:30pm.
Liver Down the River have their roots in countless river floats, campfires, late night picking, and Colorado living and will perform a fusion of bluegrass and funk.
Dolores Pride will host "Pride in July", featuring Drag Bingo hosted by Aria Pettyone and music by DJ MJ on Friday, July 17th from 6:00pm at Dolores Community Center.
This is a family-friendly event to which everyone is welcome.

Heart to Heart will host a community market on Saturday, July 18th from 7:30am to 1:30pm at 33 North Elm Street, Cortez.
The market will feature arts and crafts, baked items, home goods and jellies and jams.
Dolores Mountain Quilters will meet on the third Saturday of each month at 10:00 am at the Dolores Public Library. More information is available by calling the library at 970-882-4127.
On Saturday, July 18th at 10:00am, Cortez Makerspace is hosting a Fundamental Finance Workshop covering financial wellness and practical money skills for our current economy.

The Odd Cat Bookstore in Dolores will host a late morning discussion group every third Saturday at 10.30am.
This will have no agenda, no particular topic and zero politics and will just be humans engaging in conversation. Coffee and tea will be available but attendees are welcome to bring their own refreshments.
Cortez Makerspace will offer a silversmith workshop on Saturday, July 18th at 11:00am.
