The Simmons Ranch Chapter of the International Western Music Association of Colorado will host The First Four Corners Western Music and Poetry Showcase on Saturday, July 18th from 4:00pm at Mancos Brewing Company.
Performers will include Yampa Valley Steve Jones, The Timberline Cowboys and poets Susie Knight and Lindy Simmons, as well as singers, Lynne Lewis and Rick Randolph..
Bitterblossom Games will host a Teen Hangout Night on Saturday, July 18th from 5:30 to 8:00pm.

Four Corners Food Not Bombs is a mutual aid group where neighbors help neighbors, and everyone is welcome. They meet Sundays from noon to 1:30 at the Good Sam’s Warehouse in Cortez for a hot, homemade vegan and vegetarian potluck, plus an exchange of books and clothes. Come give what you can, and take what you need.
Every Sunday afternoon starting at 3:00pm, The Odd Cat Bookstore in Dolores will host a writing group.
This casual event will typically feature a writing prompt followed by twenty minutes of writing and then a sharing session. Some afternoons will feature a local writer.

Dolores Bike Hostel will host a performance by The Saint Cecilia on Sunday, July 19th at 7:00pm.
The Saint Cecilia’s sound is rooted in the classic rock of the 1960s and 70s as well as more modern rock bands.

Summer meal boxes are available by mail for children ages 3 to 18 in Montezuma and Dolores counties through Colorado Food Cluster. The boxes include seven breakfasts and seven lunches, and families can apply at app.coloradofoodcluster.com. Meals will be distributed up to the week school starts.
The Disabled American Veterans Outreach Center offers rides for Veterans to medical appointments and is looking for volunteer drivers to join the team. Vehicles and gas are provided for these trips.

The First United Methodist Church will host sessions for caregivers every third Tuesday of the month at 4.00pm. These meetings are intended to provide support from other caregivers that are also on the journey of caring for a loved one.
