Hospice of Montezuma will facilitate a weekly meeting for men each Friday from 2:00 - 3:30pm.

This group is for men who might benefit from sharing things that have been weighing on their minds. Seeing things from a new perspective is often very helpful. Mental health matters!

The Lightbox at Stillwater Music will present Mojo Birds with The GrooveCasters on Friday, October 10th at 7:00pm.

Cortez Farmers Market will occur at their new location on the corner of Empire and Mildred streets, every Saturday until October 25th.
Local produce, crafts, food, and music will be available weekly from 8.30am.

The Good Food Collective and EsoTerra Ciderworks will host the 17th Annual Apple Days Festival in Buckley Park, Durango on Saturday, October 11th from 9:00am.

The event will feature a variety of family friendly activities and music from Mojo Birds.

All proceeds support Apple Days and The Good Food Collective’s Food Security Efforts.

Montezuma Orchard Restoration Project will hold its annual Orchard Social and Fall Heritage Apple Tree Sale on Saturday, October 11 from 11:00am to 4:00pm at the Orchard Hub in Dolores.

Four Corners Food Not Bombs will provide an opportunity for mutual aid at the pink warehouse at 30 N. Beech Street in Cortez on Sundays from noon to 1:30pm. Everyone is invited, but not required, to bring a vegetarian or vegan dish to share. Needed items include tents, sleeping bags, hygiene supplies, and socks.

The Cortez Adventist Christian School will hold their Annual Fall Festival Fundraiser on Sunday, October 12th from 2:00 to 4:00pm.

The day will feature food, games, crafts, and more.

The Disabled American Veterans Outreach Center offers rides for Veterans to medical appointments and is looking for volunteer drivers to join the team. Vehicles and gas are provided for these trips.

The Colorado Educator's Association and Kemper PTO are collaborating to host a School Board Candidate Forum on Monday, October 13th from 6:00 to 7:00pm at the Cortez Chamber of Commerce.

Candidates will respond to questions from the audience.

Volunteers are sought to help maintain our local mountain biking trails every Tuesday from 3:00 to 6:00pm.
